The requirement

Connect the centre’s services and areas

Tenants need internet access; property management needs workstations and communications; security staff need centralised video monitoring. Entertainment areas, the food court and guest Wi‑Fi have their own requirements.

The project brought these needs together in a network with redundant internet access and traffic segmentation.

Project scope

Diagram of project scope: two providers meet in Dual WAN on the property management side; the property network is separated by VLANs into property management, tenants, Wi‑Fi, entertainment areas and video surveillance; cameras feed the security control room and are integrated with Safe Region; separately, networks for the client’s vehicle entry and exit systems.
  1. 01Connectivity and tenant networking

Two independent internet connections from different providers serve the property. Dual WAN provides automatic failover for the property management company. A structured cabling system was built from the ground up to connect tenants. VLANs separate traffic for property management, tenants, Wi‑Fi, video surveillance and entertainment areas.

  2. 02Video surveillance

The system uses Hiwatch and Dahua equipment, with more than 100 cameras connected to the security control room. Integration with the Safe Region project was completed.

  3. 03Property management IT support

The support scope includes 12 PCs and 5 multifunction printers, IP telephony, Wi‑Fi, access control and its associated network infrastructure.

  4. 04Commercial and shared areas

The project includes support for Dream and the Syurpriz children’s area, public Wi‑Fi with hotspot access, TV displays and background audio. Dream has 16 cameras and 3 access points; Syurpriz has 12 cameras and 3 access points. Networks were built and are maintained for the client’s vehicle entry and exit control systems.

For day-to-day operations

Connection redundancy reduces reliance on a single provider, while VLANs separate traffic for services and tenants. Security staff can view camera feeds from one control room. IT support covers both property management workstations and systems in commercial areas.
